Fieldhouse Yacht Surveys is an independent marine surveying company based in Chichester on the South Coast of England. Experienced and highly qualified, we specialise in surveying cruising yachts and motor boats of all sizes for private buyers and owners. Our Surveyor regularly inspects boats throughout the UK and also in France, Italy, Spain, Gibraltar and the rest of Europe.

Our rates are very competitive, although we aren't the cheapest. We can only sustain our high quality of surveying and precise reporting by charging a fare rate for the work that we do. Others who offer cut-price surveys often provide reports of a commensurate standard. Caveat emptor!
All surveys and inspections are carried out in accordance with guidelines and standards set by the International Institute of Marine Surveying.
Our Yacht Surveyor, Nic Fieldhouse, carries full Professional Indemnity insurance and Public Liability Insurance.
As well as satisfying the requirements of your insurance company, our insurance surveys may reveal damage or defects that were previously unknown to the owner.

Fieldhouse Yacht Surveys can be contacted 7 days a week and are happy to travel throughout the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Gibraltar and the rest of Europe. The communications network along the south coast enables us to efficiently reach locations such as Dover, Ramsgate, Brighton, Littlehampton, Chichester, Gosport, Southampton, Cowes, Lymington, Poole and Bournemouth. We are also close to Gatwick Airport, enabling fast access to locations in the West Country and abroad.
